JOY IN THE MORNING

How good is God ... always and always good. Our Father at church always says:" God gives you cookies". God gives us little treats to encourage us on our earthly journey towards our heavenly home. 

If I think of my difficult journey over the past month then the more I can see God's outstretched hand in these joyous past days. Oh! What a joy it was to be together as a family. 

We planned for it so long in advance. When you book the tickets a long time in advance the tickets are not so expensive. We booked the tickets almost a month ago and waited patiently ... counted off the days in a sense of longing and of joyous reunion.

Finally, the day broke early and startlingly cold. We tackled the pass over the mountain and then we were there - waiting for the plane to land. Waited some more and then you were there walking slowly across the tar. 

How good is God ... always and always good. We laughed and hugged and kissed and kissed and kissed 💋 

How good is God ... how wonderful and good is God for giving us families and children and grand children. For giving us little hands to hold in old gnarly arthritic hands. For giving us health to walk and talk and to enjoy each other. How endlessly good is God.
